We requested full design services including selecting and the installation of all furniture, lighting, furnishings, and artwork. I requested a very short timeline and she completely delivered! Not only is our home stunning, the whole process was completely painless - I could have as much or as little input as I wanted. When we arrived at our home there was little transition as everything was complete and perfect! Alinda was incredibly prompt, and had fabulous communication. I was incredibly impressed from start to finish and would recommend her to any. Shannon H. Tacoma, WA. 07/2019

  • Queen Anne Kitchen Redesign | Alinda Morris Interior Design LLC

Queen Anne Kitchen Redesign & Remodel Project Overview This mid century modern kitchen feels right at home in this craftsman neighborhood. This kitchen has layers of details and but feels modern and expansive. The kitchen was designed for an active family of four so we took advantage of every storage opportunity. The built-in banquette is made of solid walnut and creates a cozy sitting area. The table was handmade by the homeowner who is a talented woodworker, she also made the butter block countertop. Incorporating a seating area in a kitchen is an opportunity to create an intimate space to enjoy time with family, enjoy a lazy sunday morning or finish up the latest project. The existing hardwood floors were refinished and the butcher block island top was incorporated into the new design both really help to soften some of the newer details like modern walnut cabinets. The existing skylights help to showcase the beam and wrapped post detail and fills the space with natural light. Sleek under cabinet lighting and hidden recessed plug molding provides plenty of function without outlets to disrupt the tile detail. Photos by Julie Mannell Photography Client Review Alinda worked with us on almost every detail of our kitchen remodel. Her thorough understanding of style, function, and cost made her invaluable to the project. Thank you! Seattle WA.

  • Modern Mountain Home | Alinda Morris Interior Design LLC

Modern Mountain Home New Construction | Project Overview When our clients decided to build their dream home they enlisted us to help with all the details. They were excited about living in a modern home but their previous home was very traditional and this was SO different. They had a set of plans but they were overwhelmed by the layout and no finishes had been selected. This project has so many great details. We created layers of texture, with warm neutrals, rich velvets and materials grounded in nature that balance out the architectural elements. We love the drama of the black concrete fireplace and architectural elements in the home-it makes such a bold statement. It can be tough to work with a large open concept and still have the space feel cozy and warm. We spent a lot of time talking with them about their likes, dislikes, needs, hopes and dreams so the entire project reflects their style, taste and lifestyle. We developed a complete vocabulary of finishes including color pallet, surface materials, cabinet details, plumbing and lighting. We provided the furnishings. accessories and art. • Sea Cliff House | Alinda Morris Interior Design LLC

Sea Cliff House We assisted the client on their entire home renovation from conception to completion. We started with the kitchen design- We sketched out some ideas and decided expand the kitchen and add built-in banquette seating. We drew inspiration from the amazing views and site location. We incorporated u nique finishes and design details- Amenities, customized storage and Integrated appliances. Our goal was to create a calming, neutral palette then we layered in color and contrast so even though the space is a relaxing environment. for our clients. It feels interesting and curated just for them. Luxury is more about having something that reflects the client’s personality and lifestyle than re-sale...although that is always a consideration. When selecting furnishings for the space we introduced soft durable fabrics and lots of texture. Neutral does not have to be boring! The key is variation in texture and adding in some organic elements. Getting to know our clients' style is the best part of the process! The custom furniture is perfect for the space.
