- Modern Mountain Home | Alinda Morris Interior Design LLC
Modern Mountain Home New Construction | Project Overview When our clients decided to build their dream home they enlisted us to help with all the details. They were excited about living in a modern home but their previous home was very traditional and this was SO different. They had a set of plans but they were overwhelmed by the layout and no finishes had been selected. This project has so many great details. We created layers of texture, with warm neutrals, rich velvets and materials grounded in nature that balance out the architectural elements. We love the drama of the black concrete fireplace and architectural elements in the home-it makes such a bold statement. It can be tough to work with a large open concept and still have the space feel cozy and warm. We spent a lot of time talking with them about their likes, dislikes, needs, hopes and dreams so the entire project reflects their style, taste and lifestyle. We developed a complete vocabulary of finishes including color pallet, surface materials, cabinet details, plumbing and lighting. We provided the furnishings. accessories and art. - Canterwood Project | Alinda Morris Interior Design LLC
Canterwood Project-Beauty and Brawn Project Overview The kitchen layout was very functional so the cabinet doors were replaced and a new quartzite counter top were added for durability. Lighting sets the tone for the space. This kitchen was in great shape but the colors were dated and the client desired for a light and bright glamorous kitchen that was an extension of her living and dining space. Existing Base cabinets were painted, new custom shaker doors were made and fitted with new knobs and pulls. Photos by Alex Hayden Photography < Back to Projects

- Island Living Beach House | Alinda Morris Interior Design LLC
Island Living Beach House Project -Fox Island, Washington Project Overview This space was designed for Sunday morning breakfast and family gatherings. The kitchen was the focus in a larger remodel. The previous kitchen was small in comparison to the rest of the house and he working zones were limited. A wall separated the space from sweeping views. This busy family wanted more flexibility and better site lines to the view. Thoughtful consideration was given to each decision and selection to ensure the reflected the overall aesthetic. We wanted family friendly durable surface materials that would stand the test of time. This was an entire home renovation. It took several months for conceptual design development and construction. - Point Ruston Project | Alinda Morris Interior Design LLC
Point Ruston Project Project Overview: Our client came to us just days within closing on their waterfront condo and tasked us with the challenge of designing and installing the entire house in time for them to enjoy the summer in their new home. This was such a fun project because we are all about creating stylish, eclectic yet clean line spaces for our clients. We started with several conceptual furniture plan options. Once we had a finalized layout; We presented several design & concept boards with furniture selections and lighting options. We provided furnishings, artwork window treatments and updated most of the lighting fixtures. Changing out the lighting was a definite game changer for this space! C reating interest in a new construction space can be challenging. When working to personalize new construction we combine styles and periods through a wide variety of items to achieve a curated look. We carried the eclecticism throughout the home to create flow. We added a few luxury details like (washable) hotel chic bedding. We wanted our clients to feel like they are on vacation all the time but we did not want anything in the space to feel formal or precious. We created a cohesive luxury vacation experience but with a sense of humor. We chose a simple color palette, next we layered in both color & pattern and played up the warm neutral finishes to create a cohesive look. We Incorporated both rough and smooth textures to add interest to the interior. We knew the a rt, accessories and interior styling were going to be really important so we selected custom artwork focusing on artists we love (Images with a travel theme), The space is cozy & grown up with family friendly finishes and no hard edges. Our clients LOVE it. It makes us so happy to know this family is making memories in the space we designed just for them. Photography: William Flanagan Pash-Uhn Photography.
