Mid-Mod Scandi style Kitchen Project

Project Overview

This kitchen is what Pinterest dreams are made of.

For this complete kitchen remodel, we wanted to honor the integrity of the original envelope of the space which was an odd combination of postmodern and traditional styles. We started with a functional floorplan and cabinet layout and added tons of storage based on how our clients live in their home. We drew inspiration from Midcentury, Scandinavian and Nordic architecture and a less-is-more aesthetic.

Our clients love bright, happy colors partnered with warm neutrals. We wanted to capture our client’s personality, so we developed a playful color palette and added pattern for depth. In selecting surface materials, we focused on durability for this busy family of 4.

Client Review:

Alinda is such a talented designer and she goes the extra mile to make sure that your home is not only beautiful, but super functional and purposeful. She knows the construction aspect well and is able to guide your team to deliver to the design spec. When issues pop up, as they inevitably do, she's very responsive, friendly, and helpful. We loved working with her!
